Quest Camp is Grotonwood’s most traditional camp experience with a 1:5 staff ratio for campers aged 7-9, and a 1:10 ratio for campers aged 10-16.

It’s so popular we offer it twice!

SEssioN One: JULY 19-24, 2026

FOR AGES 7-12

Theme: Christmas in July 🎅🏽✝️🎄

SESSION TWO: august 16-21, 2026

FOR AGES 7-17

THEME: GLOW IN THE DARK 💡💫🕶

    • Campers seeking a classic camp experience

    • Families wanting to send sibling groups to camp together (ages 7-17 during session five)

    • Campers trying overnight camp for the first time

    • Campers wishing to participate in traditional camp activities like archery, crafts, swimming and rock-climbing.

  • The schedule is designed to meet the group’s interests and abilities with a perfect balance of traditional and exciting ‘not-so-traditional’ activities.

    Activities include visits to the camp store, archery, target-practice, segways, arts & crafts, giant slip n slide, campfire, team sports, large-group gym games, chapel-time and Grotonwood’s Got Talent!

    Lakefront activities include supervised daily swim, themed cruises on Lost Lake, tubing*, blobbing*, boating*, kayaking*, paddle-boating*, water balloon wars and beach-movie nights.

Packing List, Accommodation and Important information

Grotonwood complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430,000), and is licensed by the Groton Board of Health.

Copies of camp policies on background checks, health care and discipline policies are available on request.
