Grotonwood Facilities

Welcome to your home away from home!

All of Grotonwood’s lodging, dining and meeting are are year-round spaces, meaning they are fully winterized to cope with the harsh New England weather.

Spaces can be equipped with projector, screen, microphone, or speaker to enhance your presentation and breakout sessions - please request items in advance.

We do not mix different retreat groups within a single lodging option, your group will have exclusive use of that space. All groups get a dedicated sleeping area and separate meeting space (if needed). Free wifi is available throughout most of camp. Air conditioning is in most spaces, check below.

For guests coming during the winter or summer months, we encourage you to come with appropriate attire to make full use of our beautiful waterfront, hiking/biking trails or outdoor campfire areas. Swimming, tubing and boating is offered between June and August for a fee. Groups must request activities two weeks in advance to ensure appropriate staffing can be arranged. There is strictly no swimming or boating without a lifeguard on duty.

BEDDING, TOWELS AND TOILETRIES: Retreat guests must bring their own linens (blankets, sheets, pillows and bath towels). Bedding and towel packs can be provided for groups of 25 or more with advance notice of two weeks.

The Main Dining Hall

Located in the center of camp, our main dining hall offers retreat guests a delicious, well-rounded meal three times per day.  Our dining staff prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for up to 220 people while taking into consideration the many dietary restrictions and requests common today such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten and lactose free and any food-related allergies. We operate a nut free kitchen.

Our retreat guests enjoy sitting at tables reserved for their group for easy dining. Groups can pick and chose their menu favorites in a buffet style presentation and all are encouraged to enjoy the generous salad bar and dessert table (dinner only).  Let us know who is having a birthday/anniversary and we can prepare a cake to celebrate. You get to relax and enjoy conversation around the table, we take care of the rest.

For groups of 35 or less, camp can also allocate a private dining space in either our Annex, just next to the main dining hall or for fine weather dining, out on our new deck.
