A Springtime Adventure In Growth and Renewal!

A faith-filled spring camp where campers will discover the beauty of God’s creation and the power of spiritual growth! Spring camp is a week of fun, learning, and inspiration for children aged 4-12.

Whilst the waterfront is still a little too chilly to enjoy, we’ll be spending lots of time outside hiking, and playing team games and sports and get muddy with sticks and puddles. We’ll also enjoy Segways, a campfire celebration, which will feature stories, s’mores, and a trip to the camp store!

Qualified instructors and low student ratios make certain that we provide a safe environment and that your child develops a strong bond with our team from the first minute they arrive. Daily rituals like Positive Share create a strong, silly, and supportive camp culture, where kids build confidence and independence.

WHAT TO PACK

  • Warm hat, scarf, gloves (we spend a large part of the day outside)

  • Sunscreen Lotion (spray is preferred) - just in case the sun shines! Please place in plastic bag labeled with name or initial the bottle

  • Bug repellent - place in plastic bag labeled with camper’s name

  • Warm coat or jacket - kids hate wearing coats, they also hate being cold!

  • We advise your child pack extra underwear, and/or a spare change of clothes just in case

  • Water bottle - Water stations with disposable cups are available throughout the facility

  • Closed-toe sneakers or hiking boots - Crocs are strongly discouraged due to injuries. Velcro sneakers are highly recommended if your child cannot tie their own laces

  • On inclement weather days please make sure campers bring a rain jacket, warm clothing, and rain boots

  • Bagged lunch if you have a picky eater (Grotonwood provides a hot lunch and afternoon snack)

Labeling: To help prevent lost items, all clothing and other items should be clearly labeled with your child’s full name.

We ask that you personally check your child’s backpack each day prior to drop off to ensure that only camp appropriate items are included. No phones, electronic games, trading cards, valuables or pets are allowed in camp. We provide all the necessary equipment for camp activities.

The possession of alcohol, drugs and weapons are prohibited on the camp property.
