🌍 Exploring God’s Amazing Creation! 🌍

Pack your (imaginary) passport and get ready for a global adventure! Throughout this week, campers will enjoy international games, global scavenger hunts, cultural challenges, cooking experiences, dancing, and music inspired by countries around the world. They’ll work together to complete passport challenges, collect stamps from each destination, and discover fun facts and traditions along the way.

One of the highlights of the session will be Multicultural Day, during which Grotonwood will celebrate the diverse cultures represented in our camp. Our international staff will whisk campers away on an imaginative journey to their home countries, giving them an authentic glimpse into cultures from around the world. Campers will enjoy music, dancing, stories, food, and traditions as they learn and celebrate what makes each country unique. 

To help capture their favorite moments, campers will create their own Around the World travel journal in arts and crafts, recording their favorite destinations, discoveries, and memories from the week.

The adventure will also come alive with outdoor ropes and challenge activities. Campers will test their courage and teamwork on our low‑ and high‑rope courses as they climb, balance, and swing across rope bridges, cargo nets, balance elements, and more. 

During chapel, campers will learn that God created a world filled with incredible diversity and that every person is uniquely made in His image. As we explore different cultures, campers will discover that even though we may speak different languages, have different customs, and come from different places, we are all part of God’s family. We’ll be reminded of Revelation 7:9, which paints a beautiful picture of people from “every nation, tribe, people and language” worshiping together.

FLEXI-DAY

$125 per day

Come just for one day or stay the whole week!

Our Flexi-Day option offers you full control and complete flexibility. Our desire is that your child would want to spend every second of their summer at camp, BUT we know that the key to success is making camp work around your busy summer schedule.

Flexi-Day offers you the ability to register for as little as one day out of the whole summer for a reasonable tuition fee of $125 per day. Flexi-day also covers two, three or four days per week. Tuition includes a hot lunch, afternoon snack, daily supervised swim, and a registered camp nurse available to assist your camper in case of emergency.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Drop off from 7:30am, $30 per day

Join us for a cooked breakfast, which also includes cereal, fruit, yogurt, and a toast bar.

DINNER CLUB

Pick up at 6:00pm, $30 per day

Dinner club is very popular and fills quick! Campers hang at camp a little longer with their favorite counselors, eat in the Main Dining hall and enjoy a two course dinner!

OPTIONAL OFF-CAMP TRIP

August 12, 2027

This session offers the choice of an off-campus trip to Canobie Lake Park. Campers must be enrolled for Wednesday and pay an extra $150 to attend. This fee covers travel, park tickets, food, staffing (including a Registered Nurse), and $25 spending money for each child.

Grotonwood complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430,000), and is licensed by the Groton Board of Health.
