Get ready for a star‑spangled day of fun, friendship, and adventure! Grotonwood will celebrate the 4th of July with an action‑packed week filled with patriotic crafts, water balloon battles, team relay races, American‑themed games, scavenger hunts, music, and plenty of camp‑wide excitement!

The celebration wouldn’t be complete without a 4th of July Parade! Campers will work together to decorate our hay cart with red, white, and blue creations before proudly joining the parade. We’ll also have a special visit from the Groton Fire Department, giving campers a chance to meet local heroes, learn about fire safety, and celebrate the community we call home.

From waving flags and cheering for their teams to splashing through water games and dancing to patriotic music, campers will have countless opportunities to play, create, compete, and make unforgettable summer memories.

During chapel, campers will learn that the greatest freedom we can experience comes through Jesus Christ. As we celebrate the freedom we have in our country, we’ll discover what it means to live in the freedom, hope, and love that Jesus offers us. Through Scripture and reflection, campers will be reminded of Jesus’ words in John 8:36:

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

FLEXI-DAY

$125 per day

Come just for one day or stay the whole week!

Our Flexi-Day option offers you full control and complete flexibility. Our desire is that your child would want to spend every second of their summer at camp, BUT we know that the key to success is making camp work around your busy summer schedule.

Flexi-Day offers you the ability to register for as little as one day out of the whole summer for a reasonable tuition fee of $125 per day. Flexi-day also covers two, three or four days per week. Tuition includes a hot lunch, afternoon snack, daily supervised swim, and a registered camp nurse available to assist your camper in case of emergency.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Drop off from 7:30am, $30 per day

Join us for a cooked breakfast, which also includes cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs and a toast bar.

DINNER CLUB

Pick up at 6:00pm, $30 per day

Dinner club is very popular and fills quick! Campers hang at camp a little longer with their favorite counselors, eat in the Main Dining hall and enjoy a two course dinner!

*Not available on fridays

Grotonwood complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430,000), and is licensed by the Groton Board of Health.
