One for the Survivalists and nature lovers!
This is a perfect session for campers who love being outside, aren’t freaked out by bugs, happy to get their hands dirty, and can handle a little experiential learning in the great outdoors. With a 1:5 staff ratio for campers aged 7-9, and a 1:10 ratio for campers aged 10-12, this session is designed to strip programing back to basics, just good ol’ nature, survival skills, and simple recreation.

Campers will bike and hike among our 247 acres, and kayak on beautiful Lost lake.
Campers will basic survival and ropes skills from Nandu - founder of outdoor adventure organization, Rock Salt Camp in India.
They will spend one night in a tent instead of their cabin as they participate in our annual beach camp out. In the morning, they’ll cook their own ‘wrangler’ breakfast on the fire.
Campers will also participate in traditional camp activities, develop friendships, and build confidence away from home.
Traditional activities include supervised daily swim, tubing*, blobbing*, boating*, archery, arts & crafts, giant slip n slide, campfire with S’mores, chapel-time, and our much-anticipated Grotonwood’s Got Talent!
