Military Kids Camp Enrollment goes live February 1st 〰️

Grotonwood has been hosting camps for children of military families since 2018. Thanks to the generous support received from Friends of Regional Ministries (FORM) and the Boston Baptist Social Union, what started as one dedicated session for 35 kids has grown into a multi-week program that serves over 100 children of military families each summer.

How does it work?

Grotonwood covers a tuition amount of $650 per child towards one week of overnight camp. The family is responsible for covering the remaining registration fee.

More information about each camp can be found here including the total registration fee.

Most camps are $825, so families will pay $175 for each camper.

Step One: Choose a week of camp from the table below that works best with your summer schedule.

Step Two: Create an account or log into your existing account by clicking here , and following the online registration prompts.

Step Three: Be sure to complete the online Military Family Form - A ‘funding code’ similar to a promo code will be displayed. Make a note of it - you will need to enter it when checking out.

Step Four: Enter the code at check-out and pay the remaining balance to register your camper. Please note that deposits are not refundable or transferable.

FAMILIES MUST SHOW MILITARY ID DURING CHECK-IN AS PROOF OF STATUS. A MAXIMUM OF ONE WEEK OF CAMP PER CAMPER IS ALLOWED EACH YEAR.

Who Qualifies?

We serve children of deployed, active duty, National Guard, Reserve (including Coast Guard), and veterans with an ‘almost’ free week of summer camp.

Who we ARE

Grotonwood Camp & Conference Center is a home mission of The American Baptist Churches of Massachusetts. Operated as a non-profit christian organization, we provide a welcoming and safe space for kids of all faiths, backgrounds, and gender identities. We operate our faith-based programming under the assumption that at least 60% of our campers have never experienced religious activities. We teach basic Christian values such as peace, love, justice, and kindness through our engaging and high-energy chapel services and Bible studies. Participation in all activities, including our faith-based programming is voluntary.

Cancellations and no-shows

Please help us make a kid’s summer by communicating cancellations as a matter of priority. Demand is very high every year and our capacity is limited to 100 campers. If your circumstances have changed and you’re child is no longer able to attend summer camp please notify the office at 978.448.5763 to make your space available to a military family on our waitlist.
