WHAT IS BETTER THAN CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS IN DECEMBER?.....CELEBRATING A SECOND CHRISTMAS… IN JULY!

Christmas in July is a much-anticipated special week of camp. With the support of Santa’s little helpers camp turns into a winter wonderland for one week every July and over the years it has become a really important camp tradition. Get ready to sing Christmas carols, and bring the nativity to life during Friday’s Chapel Service. We’ll find out why the Grinch stole Christmas during Christmas Clue, and enjoy fun festive activities like ginger bread house making!

During snack time, we’ll decorate Christmas cookies, enjoy hot cocoa, and try some traditional English Christmas treats!

Santa is always impressed with all of the Christmas spirit from our campers and counselors! Whether it is wearing Santa beards or playing Christmas games, we always have a blast celebrating Christmas in July.

In chapel, we will learn about the coming of Jesus in the Christmas story through an interactive re-enactment of the nativity as a way of seeing the scripture come to life. Campers will look at the journey of four different characters who traveled to Bethlehem for the very first Christmas, Including Joseph, the Shepherds and the Wise Men. As far as these men all travelled, kids will see that Jesus traveled the farthest and gave up the most to be in Bethlehem on that first Christmas. We’ll also have a little fun with Santa and his cheeky elves during worship and throughout the week.

FLEXI-DAY

$95 Per Day

Come just for one day or stay the whole week

Our Flexi-Day option offers you full control and complete flexibility. Our desire is that your child would want to spend every second of their summer at camp, BUT the key to success is in making camp work around your busy schedule.

Flexi-Day offers you the ability to register for as little as one day out of the whole summer for a reasonable tuition fee of $95 per day. This includes a hot lunch, afternoon snack, daily supervised swim and a registered camp nurse available to assist your camper in case of emergency.

 
 
 
 

BREAKFAST CLUB

Drop off from 7:30am, $20 per day

Join us for a cooked breakfast, which also includes cereal, fruit, yogurt, eggs and a toast bar.

DINNER CLUB

Pick up at 6:00pm, $20 per day

Dinner club is very popular and fills quick! Campers hang at camp a little longer with their favorite counselors, eat in the Main Dining hall and enjoy a two course dinner!

FINANCIAL AID

 
 

Tuition costs should never be the barrier preventing campers from attending camp. We're able to provide financial assistance to those who require it in order to attend. Simply complete a Campership Request Form and we will get back to you as soon as possible. The request must be received at least 10 days before the chosen session start date.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Medical and Camp Forms MUST be returned by no later than June 1st or a $75 Late Paperwork Fee will be applied to your balance due.

The prices quoted above include all, activities, medical supervision, staffing, hot lunch and afternoon snack.

A deposit must be paid by debit or credit card during online enrollment to secure your camper’s spot.

A non-refundable or transferrable deposit is due upon registration. Any registrations cancelled more than two weeks before the chosen session will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit. There are no refunds for cancellations less than two weeks before the chosen session. If Grotonwood cancels a program for any reason, a full refund will be provided.

A 1:1 option is available for children requiring extra behavioral/learning/developmental support.

Our 1:1 service is limited and subject to an in-person meet and greet with the camp director. There is an additional fee of $1,000 per week to secure our 1:1 service.
