DAY CAMP WEEK 5:

global adventure

july 15-19, 2024

$450 WEEK OR $95 DAY
DROP OFF 8:30AM & PICK UP 5:00PM

Join us on an adventure around the world!

Exploration of the world is a great way to teach geography skills and expose children to other cultures. Most importantly, you can nurture a love for exploration and a sense of respect and empathy for other ways of life. Each day of camp will bring a new country and a new culture. Using their imagination, campers will create their own country and design a flag to represent it. They will then present their country in a Model UN.

Campers will meet staff from all around the world and at the end of the week, they’ll will have a better understanding of each nation, including, what games they play, what languages they speak, and, more importantly, they will get to enjoy a variety of international snacks and foods. Don’t worry, we’ll have PBJ at the ready.

Activities include a cool Disney around the world presentation - From Moana in Hawaii, Tangled in France to Peter Pan in London, we’ll travel the globe one movie at a time! Campers will be taught some phrases in other language and learn basic dance techniques such as the Spanish dance form Flamenco, classical Indian and the Mexican Jarabe Tapatío.

In Chapel we will focus on world mission opportunities; Sharing testimonies from individuals who have served in other countries and inspire the kids to help others through service and humanitarian action. This new curriculum takes campers on a journey around the world to learn about Paul's missionary journeys and about kids in different countries as they explore what it means to be a missionary for Jesus.
