Rules and Requests…

Phone Calls

Please know it is difficult to have campers receive phone calls during their stay at Grotonwood. They will be involved in activities throughout the day and evening. However, we are pleased to visit with you by phone should you inquire about your camper. You may call the offices at Grotonwood.

Visitors and Guests

Security is a priority at Grotonwood. Although visitors are welcomed at camp, we discourage visitation during the camp session, as this disrupts the activities and the camper’s daily schedule. Grotonwood offer campers and their providers the opportunity to visit camp in May during our open-house Preview Day. This is a great time to tour the facilities and have many of your questions answered by our caring staff. If you need to visit your camper, you must sign in at the office upon arrival.

Other Requests

The following items are NOT permitted on the campgrounds: Alcohol, drugs, firearms, fireworks, flammables, pets. Smoking is permitted ONLY in designated areas. Adult campers and visitors must adhere to this policy. It is a fire hazard to toss cigarette butts into trashcans or to smoke in unauthorized areas. All vehicles must park in designated parking areas, on the camp grounds, as directed by camp staff. The speed limit in camp is 5 mph.
